The Towneley Hall Society was formed in 1965 to help stimulate interest in the hall and to protect, preserve and enhance the amenities of the hall and gardens.
It is a Registered Charity (No 515939) and raises funds for the benefit of the hall and gardens. Details of how the funds are spent can be foun on their web-site. They own the Bracewell collection of Noel H Leaver watercolours, which are on loan at Towneley.
