The Museum Shop is part of the new wing opened in 2002. It contains the reception desk where visitors arrive together with large display case - the Cabinet of Curiosities , providing a taster of what can be found in the museum. More information about the Towneley family who once lived here is displayed in the Entrance Passage on the way into the museum.
