Towneley from A to Z
Bill the Bear is a stuffed Asiatic black bear donated as a bear skin by W. T. Taylor in 1910. Bill first appears in the Towneley exhibition catalogue in 1923, when it was in the Old Burnley Room, and has been popular with visitors to Towneley Hall ever since.
